Te Hau Whakatono Exhibition featuring the exquisite creation of Ngahina Hohaia titled He Ara Uru Ora. This exhibition was created by Māori Curator Taarati Taiaroa. This exhibition and featured toi of Ngahina, is one of the most impactful, heartfelt, wondrous multi-media creation I’ve ever experienced. This was a very special opportunity to collaborate with Ngahina and Taraati, all three of us connected through our Te Ātiawa whakapapa heritage and more. The thousands of torora albatros feathers are suspended over three levels. To read some of the featured story here is the interview of Ngahina by Dr Anna-Marie White. https://artnews.co.nz/he-ara-uru-ora/
